
I got this from my friend Amy. It makes the broccoli very flavorful!
1 pound broccoli cut into florets (4 cups)
2 Tb. olive or veg. oil
1 tsp. chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves
1 tsp. chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic finely chopped
2 Roma (plum) tomatoes [whatever you've got-- could probably use canned too]
Boil broccoli in water until crisp-tender.
Heat oil in skillet stir in remaining ingredients. Heat one minute, stir frequently, until hot. Add broccoli; toss gently.
