Cheddar Biscuits

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking power
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ stick cold butter
¾ to 1 cup milk
Garlic butter, melted

In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until it is all about pea sized or smaller. Stir in cheese, dill and garlic. Add milk and stir just until moist. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 400*. Brush tops with melted garlic butter (I don’t always do this).

I love biscuits. My Dad used to make plain ones for breakfast or dinner now and then. I was very excited to try these. I only had to bake 15 minutes, but Bridget and I devoured these for dinner the other night and then snack and then dinner again! Yum. Thanks for posting all these recipes. I find myself returning here often. I'm going to try and yaki soft tacos for dinner this week.
