My friend Emily gave this recipe to me. It is super easy and very yummy.
Combine:
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 TB sugar
1 TB yeast
Let stand 5 minutes. Then add:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
Mix until smooth then let rise for 10 minutes. Roll out dough into a large square on a floured surface. Brush with melted (real) butter mixed with fresh minced garlic and then sprinkle with kosher salt. Fold in half and cut into 1 inch strips. Twist and place on a cooking sheet. Let sit 15 tp 20 minutes to rise. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately after baking brush with more garlic butter and sprinkle with kosher salt and grated Parmesan cheese.
(I used 4 TB melted butter with 2 cloves garlic for both brushing on top and rolled out dough.)
Serve with marinara, Alfredo sauce, or ranch for dipping.
Dough can be used as pizza crust.

Oh yum! I love those breadsticks. I will have to try this.
Thanks, Angela. I love their breadsticks. I think they're too garlicky, so I'll just do a little less garlic.
I can't wait to try these. You posted them at the perfect time. We are having chili and guests for Halloween. These will go so well with our dinner! Thanks Angela!
